Refund & Cancellation Policy

Free trial

Every new organization includes a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start. If you don't subscribe at the end of the trial, your workspace becomes read-only and can be exported for 30 days before deletion.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period; you keep access to all paid features until then.

Refunds

Monthly plans are non-refundable for the current period. Annual plans may be refunded on a pro-rata basis for unused full months if cancelled within the first 30 days of the term.

We will issue a full refund where the Service has been materially unavailable for an extended period in breach of our published uptime commitments.

Payroll & pass-through fees

Per-employee payroll fees, IRS filing fees, and other amounts passed through to third-party providers (Check, Stripe, Plaid) are not refundable once the underlying transaction has been submitted.

How to request a refund

Email billing@financeoperatingsystem.com from the address on file with your organization ID. We respond within 3 business days.

Data after cancellation

You can export everything to CSV at any time from Settings → Danger Zone. Ledger and audit data is hard-deleted 30 days after cancellation unless you ask us to retain it.
