Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This policy describes prohibited uses of Finance Operating System. It applies to every user, every organization, and every integration that touches the Service. Violations may result in suspension or termination without notice.

You may not

• Use the Service for fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, sanctions evasion, or any other unlawful purpose.
• Upload, store, or transmit content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes intellectual property rights.
• Upload malware, ransomware, or any code intended to damage, disable, or gain unauthorized access to systems.
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system, except as part of a coordinated disclosure to security@financeoperatingsystem.com.
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication, billing, or any other technical limitation of the Service.
• Resell, sublicense, or expose the Service to third parties without a written firm-portal or partner agreement.
• Use the AI Copilot to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or designed to mislead regulators or auditors.
• Submit Personal Data of EU, UK, or Swiss data subjects without a lawful basis under applicable data protection law.

Restricted industries

Finance Operating System is not currently offered to businesses primarily engaged in: adult content, firearms, gambling, cryptocurrency exchange, or cannabis distribution where federally illegal.

Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse or content violations to abuse@financeoperatingsystem.com. We investigate every report and respond within 5 business days.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy. For clear, ongoing, or high-risk violations we will act without prior notice and preserve data for the period required by law before deletion.
