This Cookie Policy describes how Finance Operating System uses cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage, and pixels) on our websites and in the product. It supplements the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Finance Operating System is based in the State of Florida, United States.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. They help a site remember you, keep a session secure, or understand how the site is used. Some cookies are set by Finance Operating System; others are set by third parties we use to operate the Service.

3. Categories we use

• Strictly necessary. Sign-in session, CSRF protection, load balancing, and bot-protection tokens (including Cloudflare Turnstile on authentication pages). The Service cannot function without these. They do not require consent where applicable law treats them as essential.
• Functional. Preferences such as active organization, sidebar state, and your cookie-consent choices.
• Analytics. Aggregated page analytics via our self-hosted Umami instance. This is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. Where required, analytics cookies run only after you opt in.

We do not use advertising, social-media retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies.

4. Third-party cookies

When you use billing, bank-connection, or authentication flows, providers such as Stripe, Plaid, and Cloudflare may set their own cookies on their domains for fraud prevention and session integrity.Finance Operating System does not control those cookies. See each provider's policy. Page analytics, when enabled, are sent to our self-hosted Umami instance.

5. Your choices

You can change non-essential cookie preferences at any time from the "Cookie preferences" control in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and other core functions.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Do-not-track signals are not consistently implemented; we treat consent and in-product controls as the primary mechanism.

6. Retention

Session cookies expire when you sign out or the session times out. Preference and analytics cookies are stored for a limited period appropriate to their purpose, then expire or are overwritten.

7. Florida and governing law

This Cookie Policy is issued by Finance Operating System and is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, together with the Terms of Service, except where a mandatory consumer or e-privacy rule in your location provides additional rights.
